User Rights needed to access Builder correctly...
Marcelo_Cesario_(azertiauser6_-_(deleted))
Hi!.. I have installed a Livelink Builder on a Win 2000 Server, and created some users (for the different developers who will access the machine on different times). Problem is: I need them NOT to be on the Administrators local nor domain group, but it seems it's the only way to get them to start Builder correctly (otherwise, it doesn't stop the Livelink Service when I open the Builder logged with one of this users). ?Is there a way to work around this? ?can I solve this giving this users some special Right but NOT adding them to the Administrators group? ?is there any other option?... Thanks a lot!....

Try adding those users to the Power Users group.

I've already tried that, and it didn't work!.... Odd thing, though, that with that configuration the user can stop and start Livelink's services from the Administrative Tools, but when he starts the Builder it doesn't give the option to stop the service (it recognizes the service as being stopped, which is wrong!).
