How to count No of Times Fetched Irrespective of the Item Selected

Hi, Here is the problem case.We have a Forms and FAQ's for that we like to see how many times it was fetched.The formand FAQ's may be of any Mime type. I know how to get the Number of time fetched using sql and also i have done that report.But what i need is i like to allow the user to select the FORm or FAQ he likes to see the report.I tried with Objects as well as with containers as user input parameters.But it doent help.At present i tried with string as user input and asked the user to type in the name of the doc and asked to get the report.is there is any Body guide me to give solution in this regard.Thanks,K.Mugundhan
