Permission check on all the items in a workspace

Hi,We figured it out how to list the hiarachy of all the items in one workspace using "connected by prior" query in oracle.However we are wondering how to grant the livelink permission check in the live report against all the items and only display the items i have permission to view.Please help on this, thanks.
