Strange problem with CreateObjectEx

My code creates a folder called 'testFolder' with CreateObjectEx, and then uses the Enterprise search broker to make a search for that object using ApplyQuery. Even if the first call has finished OK and the folder object is there, the second call won't find it. Any suggestions on what may be wrong in this sequence of calls?

When newobjects are added they run through a dataflow to extract and index the data.Until this process is complete, the new object will not be returned in theresults from ApplyQuery. This will generally take several minutes.If you wish to execute queries on the Livelink Database instead of theindex, consider using RunReport. RunReport is available in Livelink 9.1.xand executes a LiveReport stored within Livelink.
