access counts for folders?

Does anyone know if there's a way to get counts of folder accesses? I have a user that wants to rearrange their area based on usage. I'm not sure this is possible since I don't see a "view" event for folders. If it isn't possible, does anyone have a report that'll give you access counts (say view&fetch) for all documents in a folder and subfolders with some type of breakout showing the folder tree and counts of docs within each folder. Something like the project outline view with a count next to each item would be oh-so-impressive :-) I know I'm asking for a lot but it's a very deep folder area and my LiveReporting isn't advanced enough for this one.thanks in advance!ps. database is oracle.

A very simple way is to post a .gif or customview in the folder and then use the audit trail of that file to see who is accessing the folder and when. I believe there is additional info on how to do this either in the Knowledge Base or in one of these discussions --try searching for audit or count folder access.
