User created with LAPI not being prompted to reset password on initial login

Hi ~Has anyone had success creating a user with LAPI and having Livelink 9.0.1 properly prompt them to change their password?When I create a user via the admin interface, they get prompted. When I create the user via LAPI, they don't.Any ideas why?Jesse WolfeApollo Group

I have found this to be the case with severalthings...where lapi doesn't have access to a setting or bit of data thatchanges something, where the web interface does have said access. If Iremember correctly, this is the case also with setting a document to bea catalog item in a folder. You can not set this field, because itdoesn't exist in the LAPI definition for ObjectInfo object. As a workaround, you could identify the column in KUAF that controls this, then create a permissioned Livereport with appropriate input parameters that allows you to modify this specific value for a user. This livereport can then be called from LAPI. I guess this would be unsupported

. But it hasn't stopped people before.
