LAPI - How to install? Where to find documentation?
Posted by DeloitteAdmin (Wayne, Amanda ) on 05/22/2003 09:22 PM
Hello All, I've been told I need to use LAPI in order to get an external system to initiate a Workflow in Livelink. I am hoping to gather some information and guidance on how to go about doing this.. I've read bits and pieces of documentation on LAPI. Here are my questions: * What do I need to install to get LAPI working? * Where can I find these modules to install? * Is there any documentation on where and how to install LAPI? Thank you in advance to all who take the time to respond to me, it is greatly appreciated! Regards, Asha
Tothecontrary, the classroom training course complements the very good documentationavailable when you install LAPI and I would strongly urge you to read it beforetaking the course. But as you know, different people have different learningstyles and some prefer a classroom setting. There is no tutorial per se; butthe documentation does offer some small examples.

Are you saying the only way for a new devloper to learn the basics for LAPI is to go to a course? I am not critisizing just asking for clarification. This type of information usually available in tutorial form on a developer website , is there such a tutorial available without taking a formal course?
