Java LAPI Workflow question -> ListManagedStatus

Does anybody have an example Java program using the LAPI_WORKFLOW_WORKFLOW.ListManagedStatus(int flags, String view, String where, LLValue statusList) method? What sort of a view do I need to create? Can I put in "null" for that parameter? (I have seen that used for other methods that require the name of a view.) What tables should the view refer to? Can this view only be created at install-time?What about the "where" parameter? Any examples?
