Thanks the cool feature my small mind didn't understand was that the htmlmapextra should help you avoid overriding a function that was already overridden ?!?!?What function is that and can we find it in customizationsRT My nightmare right now is that the customer would like to have much better integration from Livelink Explorer with attributes and I have to override some Livelink Explorer functions ..... ==> I need to do it as nice as possible ...RegardsMagnus

Magnus,

In customizatioinsrt there is a function replacescript that allows you to write a wrapper around an existing OScript function. I hope that is sufficient for your purposes. If you are not able to write a wrapper, then there is no save solution. Documentation is available in the functions itself.

I feel Hans you should have some kind of a session on Livelink Up or Meeting Zone what can be done using CustomizationRT.My feeling the Fast track certification has some goddies but is mostly the same stuff that is in the standard training I did 4 years ago where something like an adress book is created....As a full Java version of Livelink seems to take some time and as the documentation of the Oscript development also is not getting better it is a problem how to get better skills in Livelink development and also how to set up a good environment for testing / versioning (using CVS...) I feel more people beeing serious using Livelink would like to see more sessions in this...Regards from someone feeling lonely in the Livelink development environment Magnus
