Using LIKE / case sensitive

Normally the LIKE statement is case sensitive e.g.:LIKE '%%ABS%%' I should only get results with capital letters but in Livelink I get results like"Absent".Anyone an idea how I could achive the case sensitiveness?Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply.LIKE UPPER('%%ABS%%') is parsed correctly but it has not the right effect. The result is still not in capital letters.

What database are you using? I have tested with oracle and I got no problem.Let us see your complete SQL-statement. Perhaps there is another problem.Martin
