Java LAPI for discussions, topics and replies

Does anybody have a tutorial on how to use Java LAPI for discussions? I searched the Knowledge center and found nothing.I tried:LAPI_DOCUMENTS.GetObjectInfo( DiscusionID, ObjectID, LLValue )But I can't get anything at all out of the LLValue.LAPI 7 had methods dealing with discussions:CreateTopic, GetTopicInfo, DeleteTopic, ListTopics, DeleteReply, CreateReply, GetReplyInfoWhy were these taken out of LAPI 9? How can I create topics and discussions and get info about them?I am at a total loss.

I figured out how to add a discussion, a topic and reply to a topic in Java LAPI. To add a topic and a reply you must use the discussion node ID for the volume ID.What I cannot figure out is how to post a reply to a reply using Java LAPI. I tried using both 1. the Enterprise volume ID and 2. the discussion node ID for the parentVolID parameter in CreateObjectEx, but nothing seems to be working.Does anybody know how to reply to a reply?

I believe it should work the same as adding the reply to the topic. The parentVolID is the volumeID of the discussion volume (same as the nodeID of the discussion). The parentNodeID to be specified the nodeID of the reply you are replying to.

Perhaps you had the parentNodeID incorrect?
