Bulk-purging of document versions?

Is there any way to purge all versions of all documents (or a set of documents under a folder or folders) programmatically?The reason I ask is that we have a special module that combines all documents under a particular folder into a single, bookmarked PDF. One of the bugs in this module is that it is creating multiple versions of the document each time it generates - on some of these documents, we have 135 versions - onyl need to keep the most current and don't want to go through 1MM pages to manually purge versions on each doc - any advice?Thanks,Chris Schopf

I don't think you'll want to use a LiveReport for this purpose -- there are multiple tables that are potentially "touched" whenever you create or delete a version (DTree, DVersData, BLOBData, the categories tables, audit table, etc.), and the SQL for cleaning it up would be very difficult to initiate from a LiveReport. I would recommend using LAPI in this case. Perhaps an Open Text Customer Support or Global Services staffmember will have even better recommendations for you.
