Message from Paul O'Hagan via eLinkHi Steve,I can't really give you much technical advice, but I'm curious to know whyyou're doing an integration. Is there a particular business problem you'retrying to solve?Thanks!--P-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Development Discussion[mailto:development@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2003 1:15 PMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: Any problems with Livelink and Lotus Notes?Any problems with Livelink and Lotus Notes?Posted by Rioux, Steve on 10/29/2003 01:14 PMHi,Did you make a study before integrating Livelink and Notes? We are evaluating the possibility of integration, any advices, comments, business case,...?Thanks!Steve[To reply to this thread, use your normal e-mail reply function.]============================================================Discussion: Development Discussion

I've done some integration work, mainly on the push/pull of data from a WF into Notes and back again using ASP - our Notes version doesn't do XML at the mo ;-) If this is the kind of thing you want to do let me know and I'll provide some more detail. There is also a Livelink add on for Notes - can't recall the actual name though.

I believe Notes Activator is the add on to Livelink that you are speaking of. We don't currently use it but are looking into it's functionality.Supposedly it allows you to index data from a Notes DB in Livelink. You can then create different slices, permission those slices to allow access to the data.Still looking into it but maybe that will help.Mike

Hi Paul,It's almost sure that we will merge with an other organization next year. They are bigger and they use Notes. So we want to keep using Livelink with or without Notes, but we need facts and numbers.Best, Steve

Message from Paul O'Hagan via eLinkHi Steve,I want to make sure I scope this right. Are you asking to know, from searchand document management perspectives, how Livelink integrates with Notes? If so, that's a lot of ground to cover. I think the best suggestion I cangive you is to try to connect with your Account Rep or Sales Rep.Hope it helps!--P-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Development Discussion[mailto:development@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: Wednesday, November 05, 2003 8:51 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: Hi Paul,Hi Paul,Posted by Rioux, Steve on 11/05/2003 08:51 AMHi Paul,It's almost sure that we will merge with an other organization next year. They are bigger and they use Notes.
