Adding Users Notifications

We want to set notifications for all our current users. The best way we can see to do this is using sql. Does anybody have a better way of doing this?If not is it only the AgentSchedule and NotifyInterests2 table that we need to change?

If your system has been in operation for a while, SQL may be the best bet. But if you are just now rolling out Livelink for the first time, you can set default notifications when you create your user groups.

Please keep in mind that manually updating/inserting into the database is not supported. There are issues that can arise from doing this. Now, I'm not trying to sell anything but there is a PSO out there that will be able to set up group notifications. This is different than the "Group Notifications" that is available out of the box Livelink.

You can also buy and use an Opentext PSO module called Group notification, which does provide the facility you look for but also personalisation configuration facilities, by user or by group, in general or for specific areas.
