Problems in ASP.NET & LAPI

Problem : LAPI error in Visual Basic component The LAPI function for setting the length of list[LL_ValueSetLength] fails & crashes the application, the second time a newly instantiated object calls the function. Attached zip file [LAPILib.zip] contains a group project,that includes a class library project [LAPILib] & a test project[proLAPITest]. Kindly check the "ListTest" function of the class module "Document".The "LL_ValueSetLength" function fails & crashes VB, when ListTest is called second time by a second instance/object. The zip file also contains a test asp file [LAPILibTest.asp] that tests the same component. If the file is accessed by Internet Explorer,the first time it succeeds. If button is pressed, [causing thereload of the page], IIS throws internal server error. See the error screens [ASP-ErrScreen.bmp] &[VB-ErrScreen.bmp] for the errors thrown by ASP & Visual basic respectively. We also experience the same problem for another LAPIfunction, LL_ListObjects. Any ideas/suggestions/advise to resolve these errors are highly appreciated.Thanks in advance.ThanksGanesh

I had the same problem in C++.The real cause of this behaviour in my case was multiple calls to LL_Initialize and LL_Uninitialize, even though they were paired correctly.
