Livelink Reports and Builder?
DeloitteAdmin_(Delete)_2707331
HI,I have a form which submits data to an SQL table, i have written a Livelink Report which queries the DB and extracts certain fields etc..Each row in this report represnts one form, what i would like to do is have a hyperlink or something against each row in this report that when selected would open up the Form for the user to view and edit..Is this possible?Assistance would be appreciated as i've been trying to use Builder with very little luck..Thanks,Asha

Message from Alex Kowalenko via eLinkIs it possible, you ask?Yes, with LiveReport and WebReport capabilities. LiveReports come withLivelink and you may have already used them to write your Livelink Reports.WebReports is an optional Livelink module that adds formatting and hyperlinkcapabilities to LiveReports. The WebReports module comes with an example ofhow to set up a hyperlink to a form. For more information about WebReportsgo to

, scroll to LivelinkWebReports and download the datasheet. If you have access to the Open TextKnowledge Center you may be able to find additional information by searchingfor "WebReports".-alex------Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink Builder Discussion[mailto:componentbuilder@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2004 12:31 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: Livelink Reports and Builder?Livelink Reports and Builder?Posted by DeloitteAdmin on 01/15/2004 12:28 AMHI,I have a form which submits data to an SQL table, i have written a LivelinkReport which queries the DB and extracts certain fields etc..Each row in this report represnts one form, what i would like to do is havea hyperlink or something against each row in this report that when selectedwould open up the Form for the user to view and edit..Is this possible?Assistance would be appreciated as i've been trying to use Builder with verylittle luck..Thanks,Asha[To reply to this thread, use your normal e-mail reply function.]============================================================Discussion: Livelink Builder Discussion
