Ifyou don’tmind me saying so, you should consider taking the Builder course. I don’t knowwhere you are located but we do offer it quite often and I think it wouldanswer many of your questions. Also you would have access to a seasonedinstructor who could help you with other areas of both Builder and Livelink ingeneral.

Help with event script!
Posted by DeloitteAdmin on 01/14/2004 06:08 PM
Hello, I've posted this problem before with a few replies but am still having problems making changes to a script i've created.. I can see the script on the events tab and I successfully changed the name of this script so that it displayed as something else on the events tab, i've now tried to change the name of the script back to the origninal name but it doesnt not work! Also, how do check to see if my script is being run? When I attach my script to the workflow initated event tab and try to initiate the workflow I get "Livelink error: Error Loading Map" This is the first time I am creating scripts using Builder and i have no idea whats going on! Please help!
I reallywish I was there beside you so I could look over your shoulder and point (whereare you located?). I’m actually in the classroom for this week and the next twoso I could take a look at your stuff then, but I suspect that would probably betoo late for you. If you can’t wait then I would still suggest you contact oursupport folks and ask them about the SDK Gold Support program.

Hi Howard, I have taken the Builder Fundamentals course. During this course we did not create Event Scripts which is why I'm having difficulty doing this. The course focused more on request handlers? I have been looking through the documentation provided during this course and also using the online help (which was much more useful than the course material) to try and figure out event scripts. I've followed the instructions on the online manual and have managed to get the event script to appear on the events tab but thats about it.. Was hoping to get some handy hints from ppl here that have done this stuff before!
