Is there an order I need to follow?

I have created a dummy script which i could view in the events tab and which I attached to the step ready event of a workflow step.The workflow exectute without any troubles.whilst i was executing the workflow I had Builder open, is that correct?I then attempted to UNLOCK the Ospace i am modifying as i'd like to put in some debug echo's to help me with my coding..I was unable to UNLOCK the Ospace, and received an error.I think maybe I am doing something wrong with the order in which I do things?I don't see why it UNLOCKS sometimes and does not UNLOCK at other times?any ideas would be greatly appreciated

You can have your OSpace unlocked when the builder is started.

Therefore you need to edit the file webbuilder.lxe. At the top you see

List changeStateOspaces = {}, \ // If default state is locked, unlocked or vice versa

You need to change that to

List changeStateOspaces = {'MYFIRSTOSPACE'}, \ // If default state is locked, unlocked or vice versa

Note that your ospace name is in CAPITALS.

Edit the file in the builder so you can compile it for any errors. The builder won't start if there are any errors in it. So you also better make a back-up of it.

At the moment this file is located in the root directory of my Livelink installation..Is that where it should live? or does it need to sit within the specific module directory i wish to unlock?

THe function in which it seems to fail is void LockUnlockOSpace and the block of code that it fails at within that function is://Run startup script if is is thereIf OS.IsFeature(OS.Root(spec),"Startup")

Hello,I though I would uninstall the Publish_Doc script, that has fixed the unlock problem i was having!Would still like your thoughts on what you think may have caused the problem..Thanks,Asha

Hello,I have entered in the name of my Ospace into the changeofStates area, in capitals.I have left the webbuilder file in the root directory of my Livelink installation i.e where it was sitting originally..I have restarted Builder and my Ospace is still locked.I still have to manually unlock it.
