Message from Bhupinder Singh via eLinkHere's my guess (you would have to verify this, but it gives some direction on what to look for):Filecdate, being the file creation date, would be, as you mention, the date the version is created as a physical file. However, newversions can be created without creating a new file to correspond to the new version. This may occur when you upgrade a category andapply the upgrade to existing documents that have the category assigned to them. On the upgrade page, a check box appears allowingyou to "Add a new version" when the upgraded category is applied to the documents. This will create a new version using the samefile as the previous version, so I imagine that in this case, the filecdate and the vercdate will be different, with the filecdatenot changing from the previous version, and the vercdate being updated to reflect that date the category update was applied. Onceagain, I'd recommend testing this out first...Sincerely,Bhupinder------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bhupinder Singh, B.Math., B.Ed.
