Removing options from Personal Menu in browser
Paul Langham
Hi,We are currently wondering if there is any way of removing some of the options from the drop down personal menu in the browser, and also from the list of options displayed under personal in explorer as we dont use them and they take up to much screen space.Any ideas?Cheers

The menu items are processed by DASHBOARD.HTML and are held in an ASSOC called ALLMENUITEMS, if you interact with that Assoc you shoul dbe able to amend / add / delete as required.

While removing items from the personal menu is not a supported customisation, we do show you how to do this in the Builder course. The basic instructions are as follows:To remove an existing entry from a navigation menu requires the following:1) Identify the LivelinkNavigationCallback object that contains the item to be removed.2) Orphan that object in your OSpace.3) Override the execute method to comment out the item(s) to be removed.4) Check that fEnabled is TRUE.5) Run BuildOSpace to register the object.A word of caution, I would suggest you take the Builder course as these instructions are on the very last page of the course and so may not mean that much to you until you have taken the 4-day course.
