Confirmation of Node Command for view, fetch or download function
Patrick_Meissner
Working on customization to Livelink which will bring up a document that explains what the user is about read before executing the view, fetch or download function. Thus, after user selects one of those functions a pre-determined page would popup for the user to see with a confirm button at the bottom of page, before letting the user execute that function. Ideally would like it to work much like the delete function does. A warning message asking you are you sure you want to delete this object. I have seen that there is a Confirm() script inherited from the WebNodeCmd Delete object, but it doesn't seem to get called at all. Would like to use the confirm() script, but have yet to figure out how to get Livelink to invoke that script on execution of a function. It looks like Livelink hard coded this in the functionmenu.js and functionmenu.html. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out how Livelink pulls this off within the functionmenu.js and functionmenu.html. Dazed and Confused:)
