Checking Object Creations Privileges via LAPI

Anyone know how to use Java and LAPI to determine what type of objects a user can/cannot create? I'm not even sure where object creation privileges are being stored in the database.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm using Livelink 9.1.0 SP1.
