Changing a node's subtype...

They're fairly simple modules, forinstance a custom folder might display a category's attirbutes ascolumns in the detailed view. The customer who required these moduleshas lost it's funding and wants to extract it's data from livelink.I'd like to just change the subtypes of these items back to theiroriginal standard webnode type, in order to make the extraction processa little smoother. This way the objects will still be as functional astheir parents, but they won't be custom nodes.Does any one have any good ideas or experiences with anything like this?--Sean M. As long you only added functionality and no extra data to the new node types, a simple update of DTree.subype will do.

If you want to search on thhe subtype, then you also need to reindex.
