Report that finds subfolders
Susan_Foley-Gonzales_(balluser5_-_(deleted))
I am trying to create a report that finds all the subfolders under a folder, the subfolders could be three or four levels deep. Does any one have an idea on how to do this? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciatedThank you

Message from Sean O'Callaghan via eLinkHi,I looked into this one a while ago and it isn't possible if your running SQL but you can with Oracle, I think that I remember someone leaving some oracle queries on this discussion. If you just want to see the "outline" of folders you can spoof the project outline using the url and the object ID of the container.Hope this helps,Sean-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion[mailto:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: 23 March 2004 21:38To: eLink RecipientSubject: [Maybe Spam] Report that finds subfoldersReport that finds subfoldersPosted by Foley-Gonzales, Susan on 03/23/2004 04:35 PMI am trying to create a report that finds all the subfolders under a folder, the subfolders could be three or four levels deep. Message from via eLinkWith SQL Server you have to use a Stored Procedure (it isn't possible withstraight SQL). I wrote one and posted it on this discussion previously.-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion[mailto:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: March 24, 2004 3:23 AMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: RE [Maybe Spam] Report that finds subfoldersRE [Maybe Spam] Report that finds subfoldersPosted by O'Callaghan, Sean on 03/24/2004 03:20 AMMessage from Sean O'Callaghan via eLinkHi,I looked into this one a while ago and it isn't possible if your running SQLbut you can with Oracle, I think that I remember someone leaving some oraclequeries on this discussion. If you just want to see the "outline" of folders you can spoof the projectoutline using the url and the object ID of the container.Hope this helps,Sean-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion[mailto:livereportsdiscussion@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: 23 March 2004 21:38To: eLink RecipientSubject: [Maybe Spam] Report that finds subfoldersReport that finds subfoldersPosted by Foley-Gonzales, Susan on 03/23/2004 04:35 PMI am trying to create a report that finds all the subfolders under a folder, the subfolders could be three or four levels deep. Message from Anne Callanan via eLinkDear SusanI know you have had some other responses on this query. I have had an idea that you may be able to do what you want using a an XML export with the correct scope parameter and an XSL transformation that filters out everything except folders.Best regardsAnneeLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion wrote:>Report that finds subfolders>Posted by Foley-Gonzales, Susan on 03/23/2004 04:35 PM>>I am trying to create a report that finds all the subfolders under a folder, the subfolders could be three or four levels deep.
