How to return to current URL

Hi Everyone: I know this is a really basic question, but I have missed something. I created a new function menu item. When the action completes (DB updates only) I want the user to stay at their current URL. How do I do this? I can forward them to a new HTML page, but I do not want to do this.ThanksPam

Hi Pam,

I don't think it is a basic question.

In case you have a LL request handler, your Execute function should end with something like:

Socket.Write(ctxOut,"Status: 204 No Response"+Web.CRLF+Web.CRLF)
Socket.Close( ctxOut )
// Set a flag to indicate the socket is closed
.fSocketClosed = TRUE

I guess you could either composethis URL in advance and send it in as a nextURL parameter or actually deriveit on the spot, in _SubclassExecute, through its request.SCRIPT_NAME andrequest.node parameters.
