LL_Categories and LL_ListAttributes Usage in VB

Hi All,How do we use LL_Categories and LL_ListAttributes function in VB?My program was crashed each time I call LL_ValueGetLength after calling either one of these two function.Can anybody please post snippets of how to use this function?Thanks a lot.
