Table Relationships for Workflows
hpglc_(Delete)_1423369
Is there some place i can find information pertaining to the different tables associated with workflows?I am interested in knowing the relationshop between DTree, WWork, WMap, WSubWork. How are these tables connected and what entries go into these tables when workflows are added.

To really understand the tables, you should order the Livelink Schema Reference from Open Text.
In general, DTree, WMap, and WMapTask define the workflow map, or template. The only reference in DTree is an ID number that links to the map, like this: dtree.dataid = wmap.map_mapobjid
WWork, WSubWork and WSubWorkTask define the workflows that get launched from the template, and this where you will find status information about your workflows, both active and archived. Some relationships useful for joining these tables:
wwork.work_workid = wsubwork.subwork_workid
wwork.work_workid = wsubworktask.subworktask_workid
To link the workflow template to executing workflows use this relationship:
wsubwork.subwork_mapid = wmap.map_mapid
You can also search this discussion for additional information related to workflow tables and LiveReports.

Message from Bhupinder Singh via eLinkYou will need to obtain a copy of the Livelink 9.1 System Schema Reference Document (in either hard copy or on CD-ROM). For this,you will need to request a copy from your Open Text account manager; you will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)prior to it being shipped to you. There is no charge for the document.If you have already signed an NDA, you do not need to sign a new one to obtain the latest version of the Schema Reference. Customerswho have ordered the Schema Reference in the past will not receive the new version automatically. Sales reps must explicitly orderit for them.- Bhupinder------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bhupinder Singh, B.Math., B.Ed.
