Livelink Cookie with User Information
Susan_Nare_(sglcuser16a_-_(deleted))
I have a group that refuses to use Livelink because you have to log in. (sigh) So I was wondering if any of you have had any success with creating a desktop shortcut/cookie solution that allows people one click access into Livelink. Thank you in advance for your advice!Regards,Susan

Hi Susan,I am not a windows developer, but i believe you could write a simple .bat script that would launch a browser and redirect to the livelink login submission url. the user would have to put their login name and password in the url string within the .bat script, which, of course, is not advised from a security standpoint!anyway, here is a very simple example - maybe you have someone on your team that can jazz the script up and prompt for login/password on the first run and save for future reference!!!!you will also have to edit the script to point to your iexplore.exe and the proper livelink url.donna
