How to use parameter Filter Slice Folder

I want to limit a LiveReport's scope to a particular Slice that we have set up. I'm thinking I can use this parameter called 'Filter Slice Folder', but I can't figure out how it works. How do you use it and what exactly does it do?

I wound up not using the slice feature at all, and just using the following SQL to get all documents within a folder structure (including subfolders).select b.lastname, b.firstname, a.DName FROM DAudit a, z_cf_users b WHERE a.DataID IN (select DataID FROM DTree WHERE SubType = 144 START WITH DataID = 1758404 CONNECT BY PRIOR DataID = ParentID) AND a.UserID = b.UserID AND (AuditDate>%1) AND (AuditDate<%2) AND a.Event = 'CREATE' ORDER BY b.LastName, b.FirstName, a.DNameThis LiveReport shows all documents added within a folder structure for a specified date range.
