Specifically, EasyLAPI delivers some extra features such as caching, transparent session creation, optmization to minimize Livelink hits on certain transactions, a framework to support custom LAPI extensions, and a few other goodies. Of course, SLAPI does offer features not found in EasyLAPI.This tool has been authored by Chris Meyer from Open Text. All applications and tools in the Sample LAPI section of the Knowledge Center should not be used in a production environment.
