I have read in a report of performance optimisation that the optimum nnumber of items in a container is 20, but certainly not more than 200.I suspect that several of our projects exceed this number.Is there a stock report which lists the folders/containers with the most items ?This could ould be useful.Thanks in advanceKevin

Kevin,Here is a quick LR you can run to get a list of containers and the number of objects they contain:select %1, count(d2.dataid) cnts from dtree dtree, dtree d2 where d2.parentid = dtree.dataid having count(d2.dataid) > 20 group by %1 order by count (d2.dataid) descWhere Param %1 = Report Fieldsand under Display Field: cnts = Child countsTo run as a SQL statement substitute dtree.name for %1Also you may want to increase the "20" threshold.Hope this helps.Thomas
