Changing the default viewer (INSO)

Does anyone out there know how the default INSO viewer is actually called from Livelink? I believe it works the same for all 9.1 and 9.2 versions at least. Looking in Livelink sources, it looks to me like it's kind of hard-coded in. I've managed to override the default open mechanism on a per-node-type basis, but there must be another way to do it, by actually replacing how INSO is called and displayed. This would work for all node types for which ViewDoc or ViewVersion was the command used to open them.
