PDF Attachment

Hello, I am curently working on LL 9.2 SP1.Is there any way to send PDF Files as workflow attachments with the SendMessage Function? I read in documentation that only 7 bit encoded attachments can be sent but that is very poor... Has anyone developed a module or some script for this? Thanks for any advice.Veronika
