Moving LiveReports and workflows to a separate server
Pfizer_Developers
Does anyone know if it is possible to redirect all traffic caused by LiveReports and Workflows to a separate server that will not affect our front end servers. We have a cluster environment with 3 front end server that are managed by a load balancer. We have machines which we could offload this functions to .... any ideas ????

Message from Sean O'Callaghan via eLinkHow about a different front end running vertically on and existing machine. This would allow you another 3/5 threads to run reports, because it will have a different url you can redirect users to this node when they want to run stats.Hope this was useful,Sean-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: Livelink LiveReports Discussion To: eLink Recipient Sent: Thu Dec 16 21:21:23 2004Subject: Moving LiveReports and workflows to a separate serverMoving LiveReports and workflows to a separate serverPosted by Developers, Pfizer on 12/16/2004 04:19 PMDoes anyone know if it is possible to redirect all traffic caused by LiveReports and Workflows to a separate server that will not affect our front end servers. We have a cluster environment with 3 front end server that are managed by a load balancer. I initially thought that workflow agents could provide an answer to offload the heavy lifting in a workflow (callbacks, item handler steps etc...) onto a separate server. There seems to be no obvious way of doing this. Can anyone from Opentext perhaps comment? Or perhaps this would another excellent feature for future releases - e.g. get the admin server to run the workflow agent (which would make it easy to separate).Or am I missing something? Thanks,Rolf.
