Running code on login and on logout

Hello again!Does anyone know of a way to have some functions called when a user logs in or logs out? I tried orhpaning the DoLogoout object from the WEBLL Ospace, but it didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!Ys

try orphaning WEBLL.LoginHookCallback -- modify the PrgSessionCreatePost() method.this callback will be processed after every ll request, so you will want to check for your specific request handlers.requestHandler.fArgs.func -- if defined, of course.best,donna

You can't of course guarantee that these callbacks will be called - in particular the CBLogout callback, given that users will quite often just close the browser instead of explicitly logging off using the Livelink function. Also, the CBLogout function won't get called if you are running Directory Services with any kind of SSO.

Check the remote cache module it checks if a redirect to a remote cache should be done when an user logs in....Log out in a web application seems tough to catch....RegardsMagnus

Are there any guaranteed callbacks that are called even when the user does not log out and just closes the browser? I would like to know if there is a way to tell when the user session ends, so as to perform some actions then. If so, can I do this by orphaning some object? Thanks again!Ys
