need help - dashboard to include date field

I need to create customview.html that will include date filed. I then call the Livereport passing this date as a parameter. Any ideas (some sample code) how can it be done? Thanks, Olga.

Attached is a sample HTML file that can be used for your dashboard. Note that the HTML file allows the user to select the hour, which is not available in the standard LiveReport parameter screen.
