Unique Sub Types & notifications

In our Livelink we have a special sub type for a folder, which queries a category for 2 attributes and displays them in the folder. The problem I am having is when somebody sets a notification on a folder with this sub type this interferes with all other Notifications. They are not being sent out. Do either of you have any ideas how I configure these sub types to work with Notifications?

Did you turn on debugging?

I expect that a trace file will be created when you turn debugging on. From the trace file it should be clear where it goes wrong and why.
