What is a Search Broker???

What is a Search Broker?I have found doc on the fact that you need one, but nothing describing what it is. Secondly, in some sample code we were using as a basis for building our application there is logic to gather a Search Broker called "Enterprise". I would like to know why "Enterprise",is there something about that broker, or is it just the only gauranteed broker?When I do a listing of Search Brokers on our dev machine I find 4, can I simply use the first one on the list?Is there ever a time/reason when I would not want all my sessions to go thru the same broker? Why?Thank you in advance.

Hi Joao,

There is no Search Broker object type. Search Broker is an generic term refering to the class of objects that may searched against. The Search Query objects residing in the Slice Folder are the most visible.
