Connection to Livelink database after database move
Stepan_Bouda_(sbouda_-_(deleted))
Hello,I wanted to pass the Livelink database I have created to my colleague, so I have copied the database to his SQL server created appropriate SQL accounts and tried to connect it in Livelink administration. The SQL connection authorisationwent OK, but when I was asked to enter Livelink Admin password, the result was Invalid username/password specified. I did not change the Admin password (it is still "livelink"), so where is the problem? The same thing happened to me when I detached and reattached the database. Did any of you faced simmilar problem before? ThanksStepan

Hello,I know there are two passwords, tha "web admin" password I set works fine, that is the password stored in hashed form in opentext.ini. The other password which does not work for me is the password of Admin user in the database (which I also did not change). When I select the database to connect to from admin.index it asks me for Admin password for that database. I enter "livelink", but it says "Invalid username/password specified". Also I have checked the KUAF table in this not working database against other working Livelink databases, the user Admin has identical password to other databases - it is hashed "q8D3D2xkmKaQLKxrbmGKD" which states for "livelink".I have aslo discovered, that I run into the same problem when I just detach and reattach the database. Wen I try to create a new Livelink database in the same admin.index it works fine.Did you face it before?ThanksStepan
