problems with java modules
Kris_Melotte
After strugling for 3 days I managed to have an environment running and I was able see the Hello World example on my screen.I have the following questions/remarks:1. in logs/javaserver.log I jave the following error:[2005-04-07 13:04:53 (10) PluginLoader.loadModules()] WARNING - Error loading class com.opentext.elf.plugin.storageprovider.StorageProviderPlugin:java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.opentext.elf.plugin.storageprovider.StorageProviderPluginI cannot find the storageprovider package anywhere myself. I tried both the blob/external storage installations as I thought it has something to do with it but that didn't fix the problem.2. The tutorial refers to:Follow the instructions from "Setup Java Modules Development Environment" to setup your basic development environment. Is this a separate document? If so, where can we find it?3. The tutorial refers to:"Start the ELF server and to see your plug-in load. "How do we do this? I was only able to get the ELF server running when I start the Livelink service. When I startup the builder it seems that it is not started. Does this mean that we have to restart the livelink service every time whenever we need to change a plugin and that we are not able to place breakpoints inside the plugin itself?4. When I try to create a folder in the enterprise workspace like shown in the "manipulation nodes example" from the tutorial it looks to me that the code in HelloWorldWebAction.doPageProcess is not executed. When I try to put the code to create the node in HelloWorldWebAction.doPageView he executes it but it gives the error "cannot create folder". On the livelink server there is the following stacktrace in logs/javaserver.log:callback not ported: Recommender Callbackscom.opentext.elf.plugin.node.StopOperationException: Node creation callback not ported: Recommender Callbacks at com.opentext.elf.plugin.core.OScriptStubElfNodeListener.createPre(OScriptStubElfNodeListener.java:110) at com.opentext.elf.plugin.node.AbstractElfNode.create(AbstractElfNode.java:2634) at com.opentext.elf.plugin.node.GenericNodeService.create(GenericNodeService.java:418) at com.opentext.elf.plugin.node.GenericNodeService.create(GenericNodeService.java:400) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at com.opentext.elf.plugin.core.service.GenericRemoteServiceProxy.invoke(GenericRemoteServiceProxy.java:113) at sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor9.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(Unknown Source) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Unknown Source) at sun.rmi.server.UnicastServerRef.dispatch(Unknown Source) at sun.rmi.transport.Transport$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at sun.rmi.transport.Transport.serviceCall(Unknown Source) at sun.rmi.transport.tcp.TCPTransport.handleMessages(Unknown Source) at sun.rmi.transport.tcp.TCPTransport$ConnectionHandler.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)Looking into the source code I have the feeling that it has something to do with the config/javaserver.stubs.xml file but I don't have a clue to get this working.5. If I try to compile all the java sources myself instead of putting the libraries in the classpath I have the following compilation error: "AbstractElfNode.java": load() in com.opentext.elf.plugin.node.AbstractElfNode cannot implement load() in com.opentext.elf.plugin.core.object.AbstractElfObject; overridden method does not throw com.opentext.elf.plugin.node.ElfNodeException at line 2747, column 9Any help much appreciated. Thanks,Kris MelotteExpanded Media

I also am getting the error as mentioned in (1) - but I haven't found a solution yet.
