LiiveLink Schema Differences
Gerald_Asp
Could someone please point me in the right direction? Is there a document that lists the schema differeences between Livelink 9.5 and earlier versions?I am a newbie to Livelink and my installation is running Version 9.5. I am using livelink live reports discussion section to learn the livelink schema. I keep running into the error "table or view does not exist".My current example is trying to query daudit. I have dauditmore and dauditnew in my schema, but no daudit. When Livelink offers the Adevanced Schema / LiverReports class, I plan on attending.thanks.

AlexWould you happen to know whether there is a records within DB for LL 91SP3 that stores info on the licence key. Also if Admin Server (clustered environment) is talking to the same DB as Web/App Servers say LL10 & LL20 but it does not have the same level of Modules installed would/ could this cause a problem.Admin Server in this scenario is used purely as Admin Server and Agents Server.Your comments would be appreciated.Regards

Edward,The Livelink licesnse key is not stored in the database. Look in the opentext.ini file for a section like the following:[LicenseKeyInfo]LicenseKey=NumUsers=ExpireDate=CompanyName=

Modules that add schema and insert a "Module.VersionInfo" entry in the KINI table must be installed on all Livelink servers in a cluster that use a common database. Examples of such modules are Livelink Directory Services, Livelink Explorer, Livelink eSign, Livelink Records Management, Livelink Forms and Livelink WebForms, to mention a few.Other "non-schema" modules may or not be installed without problem on one server of a cluster. It is impossible to make a blanket statement without a case-by-case consideration of each module to be excluded.
