Javascript function is having xsl stuff in its name and giving error.

I have the below function in Javascriptfunction _DoSelection(nodeid, nodepath, versionnum){}I am trying to call this function on javascript onload event but error is generated. What is wrong with it? can anyone tell mewindow.onLoad = _DoSelection('{147997:2}', j_vi, j_nm)

I have the below function in Javascript

function <xsl:value-of select="$lastrow/webform:field/@fieldname"/>_DoSelection(nodeid, nodepath, versionnum)
{
}

I am trying to call this function on javascript onload event but error is generated. What is wrong with it? can anyone tell me

window.onLoad = <xsl:value-of select="$lastrow/webform:field/@fieldname"/>_DoSelection('{147997:2}', j_vi, j_nm)
