Determining file location

Not sure whether you have to use a LiveReport for this or not...how do you determine the location of a document in the external file store ?

A document is contained of several versions. In DTree you have DataID for document and its latest version in the VerNum field. Versions information are stored in DVersData with DocID as foreign key to DataID in DTree. From there you get ProviderID for your particular version. That ProviderID is foreign key to ProviderData. The ProviderData field in ProviderData table will give you the file location.

This is the path : DTree -> DVersData -> ProviderData

SELECT providerdata
FROM providerdata
WHERE providerid IN (SELECT providerid
                              FROM dversdata
                             WHERE docid = %1
                                       AND VERSION = (SELECT versionnum
                                                               FROM DTree
                                                              WHERE dataid = %1))

Where %1 is user input for your Document node ID.

The following SQL will show the directory where EFS is. Basically the output of the last query should be appended to this path. You can combine both queries in one and do some string manipulations.

SELECT IniValue FROM KIni where inisection='Livelink.DocStorage'
