Hello Kevin,
I always tried the synchronous search. If I do an async search Iwill get the following error message
[Thu Nov 12 11:39:48 2009] : Connecting to 10.2.10.12:389 askpfilms\DMS_LDAP...
[Thu Nov 12 11:39:48 2009] : Synchronization started.
[Thu Nov 12 11:39:48 2009] : SynchronizeUsers
[Thu Nov 12 11:39:48 2009] : Asynchronous search initiated ...
[Thu Nov 12 11:39:48 2009] : Search Result ErrorCode: 10ErrorMessage: Referral
[Thu Nov 12 11:39:48 2009] : Synchronization completed witherror: Referral
It is still the same simple search for one user. But I have noidea what the Referral is for?
Tobias

Any progress on this issue. I have a similar problem. My LDAP search filter is as simple as it can be (&(sn=mueller)(givenName=tobias)) In Softerra Browse this works fine. The search root is also ok. What logs are you recommed to create . All Livelink Logs does not tell much more than "Error searching LDAP" Tobias
