Approve Multiple Workflow Steps with LAPI
Charles_Clark
I'm looking for a way to use LAPI to allow a user to approve (disposition) multiple workflow assignments for the same workflow step instead of approving each assignment individually.Ex: This user may have 10 assignments (same step) for 10 instances of the same workflow. It is an approval step. This would be a blanket approval, rather than having to go in to each assignment individually.

Message from Nair, Krishnankutty N. via eLinkBut livelink workflow treats them as ten workflows. It may have been churned off the same mapbut to livelink workflow they have a workid, and a subworkid. You can easily thru lapi find outthe pending assignments of a user and use that in a loop to sign offIf this is a nobody cares step ,why not have the new 'send on' agent process it.-----Original Message-----From: eLink Discussion: LAPI Discussion[mailto:lapi@elinkkc.opentext.com]Sent: Friday, January 27, 2006 4:35 PMTo: eLink RecipientSubject: Approve Multiple Workflow Steps with LAPIApprove Multiple Workflow Steps with LAPIPosted by Clark, Charles on 01/27/2006 05:31 PMI'm looking for a way to use LAPI to allow a user to approve (disposition) multiple workflow assignments for the same workflow step instead of approving each assignment individually.Ex: This user may have 10 assignments (same step) for 10 instances of the same workflow.
