Does LAPI support new defined subtypes?

Hello,I am about to define new subtypes in Livelink. The question is does LAPI have any restrictions in manipulating the nodes and objects of new defined subtypes?This question arised when we found that some other modules such as Livelink Object Importer have restrictions with new user defined Subtypes.Thanks,Mohammad
