Unable to upload a document thro LAPI [asp\.net] when the document stored in the desktop.

Hi All,I have a problem here , i am unable to upload a document thro LAPI, If it is stored in the desktop.I am able to upload if the documents stored in C: or
and in their subfolders also.Any clues?Pls. reply asap.Regards,Bipin.
