Internationalization in Builder

Hi I have created a custom module and i am using some quoted strings in the same.I want to add all the quoted strings to an XLate file(properties file) for internationalization. Should i create the XLate file manually in my module's OSpace folder, or go via the Internationalizatio! n Menu-->New Xlate Ok, i go by the latter.But the problem here is how do i give the Group since there's no group in the drop down. I tried it out a bit more and then was able to add a New Group by running the Cmd-NewGroup scriptBuilder--&g! t;Builde r Windows--> XLateEditor-->Cmd-NewGroup But then the major problem arises when i try to add a string to the XLate fileIt hangs the Builder. On re-running the Builder only 8-9 OSpaces get displayed in the OSapce Browser. Also my customized module is not listed. Can someone tell me the steps to be followed to create an XLate and then add ! the quted strings to it? One more doubt...Do we need to manually go at the places where the quoted strings have been writen and modify them so that they are picked up from the properties file or is it that the same is done itself by the builder when we define the Key-value Thanks in advance

Please look at the Builder Developer's Guide that ships with Builder. You will find a fairly complete discussion on Internationalization and Localization. If that isn't enough, you can also look at Appendix A of the Builder Course Manual for a rather nicely written discussion ;-)

If your module is for Livelink 9.5 or newer, you should use properties files instead of xlate.Ray

Yup i am using Livelink 9.5also i created a properties file in my new module.but then while adding string pairs to the file it asks for the Group, now how do i add a group?
