Error uploading document
AppSupport_Canon
hi,i'm currently using lapi to upload a document and at the same time tagging it with a categories with respective values. The document is uploaded thru a inputstream.I'm now having the following error:- status code=101103- com.opentext.api.LLIllegalOperationException: get(name) not implemented for this datatypei've also printed out the error msg retrieved from the LLSession:Message=Error Creating nodeerrMsg=Could not create a new Document.apiError=Could not create path.Does anyone encountered this problem before? Is there anywhere where i can access a list of status codes that LAPI throws and their causes? Thanks in advance!

Message from Carsten Kulms via eLinkPlease have a look atThere are many other threads in this discussion dealing with this weirderror.Regarding the originally reported error: No, there is no list of statuscodes and the possible causes.Often errors like the reported are caused by invalid parameters (notproperly checked at the server). Of course many other causes arepossible, e.g. simply a bug.Best practice to figure out what goes wrong is to step trough therequest processing in LLBuilder -- if possible to you. If not I wouldsuggest to open a ticket Open Text Customer Support. (Please provide asmuch details as possible, e.g. server and LAPI version, source code of aminimum example which reproduces the issue, ...)

Thx for answer. I don't know if it is this get(name) error: If trying to execute CreateObjectEx() I get: Session status: 101103LAPI error: Error message: The value is not one of the valid values.Status message: Error Creating nodeStrangely it doesn't give out what value isnt valid.

Message from Philip Forshaw via eLinkNo idea if related but that sounds like bad dropdown values being passedinto a Category attribute.Philip ForshawCONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This e-mail, including any attachments, contains information that may be confidential, and is protected by copyright. Sounds likely as the error code is thesame. Try testing it with no categories to be sure

Thank you very much, I did messed up some category choices. Lots of debugging, but very simple typos at the end.LAPI should print out more information about what's bugging it, would save lots of time...
