Susan_Nare_(sglcuser16a_-_(deleted))

Greetings! We do a lot of imports of LiveReports into Excel. I recently found a reference to a custom module that OT has developed that creates a new function called LLDirect that allows you to get LiveReport results into Excel in one step. Can someone please tell me how to obtain this? Thanks,SusanSiemenssusan.nare@siemens.com

This was a special customization developed by Alex Kowalenko when he was with Open Text. You would need to approach Open Text Global Services through your sales representative to get details on availability for your version of Livelink, pricing, etc. Your sales rep can contact me if they need any assistance in locating this customization.

However, I'm pretty sure that the popular WebReports module (already available for various versions of Livelink) offers direct export to a CSV file, which can then be opened in Excel. For details on this module, please follow the link below:

Message from Alex Kowalenko via eLinkI created this utility in February 2002 for Livelink 9.2. It provides a new function called "LLDirect" that allows one to getLiveReport results from Excel with a single URL:?func=LLDirect&objId=&objAction=RunReport&UserName=&Password=[&inputLabel1=[&inputLabel2=]...]If you are running Livelink 9.5 or later then this module may have to beupgraded. Alternatively, the WebReports module that Bhupinder mentionedprovides easy exports to Excel and much more. Alex Kowalenkoalex@kowalenko.ca+1 613 838-5220
